Your Instructor
Destani has loved horses as long as she can remember. Throughout her life, God opened the doors for Destani to have many interactions with horses all over the united states. As her time and experience working with horses grew, she realized they had so much more to offer than just riding. She learned that horses are conduits for vulnerability and empowerment.
Over the years Destani became certified as an Equine-Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (PATH International) and a Horse Powered Reading™ Facilitator (HPR). These certifications equip Destani to offer unique unmounted experiences with horses to help individuals and groups explore any challenges they are facing and pursue their goals.
Destani is an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (path International), Horse Powered Reading (HPR) Facilitator, and Path Mentor training certificate holder.
Join us!
Book Clubs will be 4 weeks long and need 6 participants for each group to run.
Groups and dates selected will be established once there are 6 accepted applicants for 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade readers.

Application and Processing Fee: $45
Total Program Cost: $300
The OBH Book Club is designed to help participants increase literary skills and confidence levels through book discussion. Participants will learn different ways to discuss or process the horse books they read through assigned and rotating roles with their peers. As part of the OBH Book Club, participants will interact with the OBH herd to help them apply what they have learned from their book assignment.
Our Mission
The mission of Olive’s Branch Healing Incorporated (OBH) is to cultivate healing and create access to horses for marginalized, urban and rural communities through equine-assisted services. Founded and centered on Jesus Christ, OBH provides opportunities for both horses and people to experience restoration. Through our programming participants will have the opportunity to explore the depths of themselves and the world around them by contributing to the work of rescue, rehabilitation, and the repurposing of OBH horses. Our services are here to provide life skill and leadership development, cultural awareness, team building, and exploration of faith and more in partnership with a horse or horses. Our goal is simple: to restore horses and restore people.

There are multiple time slots during the day that you can come to help forward our mission of eliminating barriers for marginalized, urban and rural communities to gain access to horses!
